Adam Tindill aka Original Sin brought out his six track Mad World EP last week, filled with his trademark swirling, cinematic sounds and bass-rich heaviness. The EP contains the title track, You Scream and a wicked VIP, plus much more, and sees OS progress his sound and his vision. We wanted a piece of the action, so Adam has provided a guest mix just for Kmag. Check it out below.
Hey OS, how are you? You’ve just dropped the new EP, can you sum up the EP for us?
I’m good thanks, my new EP is a collection of tracks I’ve been playing all over the world this year. It’s totally dance floor orientated as you would expect. I’ve kept it varied within those confines.
What’s special about the particular tracks you have selected?
I never said that lol, my favourites off the EP are ‘Mad World’ ‘Vegas’ and ‘You Scream’ because they have a lot of energy and vibe.
There’s a remix of Therapy from Grow Your Wings, your debut album. The track seems to be everywhere, what made you decide to go in on it again?
I’ve been messing around with the Therapy remix for a while and I finally had a version I’m happy with, I won an award for that tune , it’s the most known thing I’ve written so obviously I’m gonna revisit that.
Talking of slightly older tracks, what were some of the classic tracks which influenced you when you were growing up in the scene?
A lot of my influence come from outside the scene, I was into music from an early age and the first 18 years of my life were 82 to 2000 so electronic music always interests me more than live music unless were talking classical or lounge music lol
You’ve been in the studio lately – what’s going on production wise for you?
Well it is my job lol, seriously though at the moment I feel I’m very productive in there and the work flow is good and definitely fruitful. Lots more dance floor d&b to come from me and don’t forget to pick a copy of my ‘Mad World’ EP on Real Playaz at any good download store and of course the Image Muzik ‘ We Are Your Friends’ album which also features a couple of tunes from myself and of course the rest of the crew and will be available late November.
